Celebrating GCA's 75th Anniversary
Charlotte 2023 | FREE for ALL
September 24th, 2023, 1:00 - 5:00pm | MINT MUSEUM, RANDOLPH
Hello Members,
Wow! Seventy-five years of creating connections among Charlotte artists, who is ready for the next chapter? A milestone like this is an honor because our Guild is infused with wisdom and an artful spirit that has survived a lifetime - with more lives to come.
Many of our fellow Charlotte arts and culture organizations are stepping into a new life with the same effect. We can take what we have learned and inspire the next generation of creators through innovative programming, resources, and collaborations - leading them toward new techniques and technologies that will shape the future of creativity.
Today, we are a group of diverse artists, members and board members passionate about welcoming all creatives. But what can we imagine for the next seventy-five years? Imagine embracing the renaissance of artificial intelligence, using art to speak on behalf of Mother Nature, or sharing messages about the needs of our communities. Whatever you envision, the Guild of Charlotte Artists will support you and your original contribution of art, energy, and beauty.
On behalf of the entire board, you are all invited to attend the 75th Anniversary celebrations for the Guild of Charlotte Artists. Sunday, September 24th from 1-5pm at the Mint Museum, Randolph Road. We would love to see all of our members (past, present and future) all friends and family join the festivities!
Happy Anniversary!
Cheers to the future,
Shefalee V. Patel, President

We are deeply grateful for the support and encouragement of Governor Cooper, Congressman Jackson, and other esteemed individuals who have recognized the significance of our guild's contributions to the world of art. These letters serve as a testament to the dedication and creativity of our members over the years.
